Hi, I’m Serena!

is an award-winning nail tech, Designer Nails Educator and the proud owner and creative director of The Nail Vault.

With a background in the arts and small business development, The Nail Vault came to be after Serena found the nail industry and qualified as a fully-servicing technician in 2017. Always passionate about nail polish, extravagance and glitter, entrepreneurship and creating safe empowering spaces, Serena fell into the industry by chance and has run The Nail Vault full-time since 2018.

After being scouted as a Designer Nails New Zealand nail technician educator in 2018, Serena’s since won Gold and Silver awards in Novice and Masters at the New Zealand Nail Competition and has also worked with various international brands for both events and private appointments.

With a love of all things sparkly and a specialty in sculpted nail extensions, Serena loves to create one-of-a-kind enhancements from everyday glam to XXL 4D encapsulated acrylic art.

When not creating cool stuff on nails or running the business, Serena can be found filling her cup with coffee, astrology memes, the garden and her family.
